Astrology Any one?

Have you ever read your astrology sign? I just read all about the taurus one and found that alot of what it has to say is exactly like me. My good traits are:
"Patient and reliable
Warmhearted and loving
Persistent and determined
Placid and security loving"

And my dark side is:
Jealous and possessive
Resentful and inflexible
Self-indulgent and greedy

Have any of you ever read your sign and realized it was you explained on paper or saw nothing in common?

Twilight VS. Harry Potter critics

Ever since the Twilight movie came out, people who didn't like vampires suddenly became obsessed with vampires. This also caused the books to almost beat the sales of Harry Potter books. Yet the book selling isn’t the problem. Everything is now revolving around vampires. Shirts, TV shows, movies, and even other books besides the ones by Stephanie Myers have turned up all over the place. Harry Potter never had this effect. Could this be because wizardry had never been spun into a book like that before targeting young readers causing controversy, and perhaps because the Twilight series is after all this controversy that people are more likely to be relaxed on the thought that it has taken over most of society’s entertainment?

I would love to know what you think on just how over done vampires and werewolves are. I would also like to know why Twilight doesn’t get the bad rap sheet that Harry Potter books first did.

Emma by Jane Austen

Many girls believe that they have the "cupid" power to set up true love. In Emma, Emma tries to set up her friend and ends up failing not once but repeatedly. Emma gets so wraped up in setting her friends up that she loses sight of what is infront of her. She eventually doesn't even realize that one of her best friends is in love with her. Has this ever happened to anyone or anyone you know? It seems like Jane Austen was speaking from experience in this book just like in the rest of her books.

Picture Perfect

The book picture Perfect is about a boy who'S best friend goes missing. Durring the story, thr boy is blambed for his disappearance while struggling to balabce his second personality named Ian that he beleives is just an imaginary friend. In the end it turns out that his Dad really was behind not only his friends disappearance, but also behind why he has a split personality. Even though his father is the cause to all this boys problems, the boy just wants to make his father happy and proud of him.

Where is the line for parents to say that a child has made them proud? It is as far as causing mental abuse, or is it as close as a hug? Could the parents just not know where to draw the line in the first place?

Global Warming

So I came across an article the other day discussing global warming. I have just a tiny obsession with global warming so I thought I would elaborate my idea on here. First of all I would like to say that Global Warming does exist. Unfortunately I am sad to say that my theory of Global Warming differs from most people’s theories. Millions upon millions of years ago, compasses would have pointed south due to the Earth’s magnetic field. The Earth eventually flipped as to where compasses pointed north. This explains the ice age.
Now it is expected that the Earth will make this flip again. An effect of this will be the North Pole ice caps melting. The melting of these caps will cause temperature changes in the water. The water currents will then circulate throughout the globe causing many hurricanes which are known to alter the temperatures within the ozone.
Now you may be asking how the sun comes into play in all of this. Well you know thoughts pretty lights you see in the northern hemisphere called the Northern lights or aura borealis? Well thoughts occur from the sun's rays escaping into the North Pole. The sun also plays part in Earth’s magnetic field.
And wal-la you have now been introduced to my new theory of Global Warming. No government interference what so ever. And it is not a human pollution problem either.
P.S I did not do any researching on my facts so if it’s wrong, my bad!!!
